The Dre' Bly Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization designed to improve education through physical excellence. The organization helps to promote physical awareness by improving athletic facilities and promoting the importance of athletics in maintaining a healthy body and a healthy mind.
WHAT DOES THE DRE' BLY FOUNDATION DO?
The Dre' Bly foundation was formed to promote physical education by providing athletic equipment and scholarships to deserving schools and students. The Foundation also conducts athletic camps during the summer and has fundraising events.
WHY WAS THE DRE' BLY FOUNDATION FORMED?
With school funding for extracurricular activities reduced each year, many children are left without the opportunity to learn and/or achieve their potential athletic abilities and goals they may have. The Dre' Bly Foundation was formed to help schools in need retain after school programs. The foundation is also designed to assist schools with needed athletic equipment, and to award scholarships to those students that have excelled both academically and athletically.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Since its inception in 2003, The Dre' Bly Foundation has raised more than $40,000.In the future Dre' intends to provide athletic equipment and supplies to schools across the U.S. The Dre' Bly Summer Football Camp has also hosted over 200 children in free football camps in different cities.
